Opening for Motor Underwriting Manager with one of the leading broking firm.

1: Job Purpose Statement (Summarize in one/two statements why this job exists and the contribution
makes to the overall business of the company):
To assist Corporate Motor & Overseas business and Non Corporate business in terms of the number
of policy & claims , by aiding in competitive pricing, product , service levels, and regular customer visits.
2: Duties & Responsibilities ( List in the order of importance the duties & responsibilities of this job)
1. Business Underwriting
a) Mentoring and guiding the team.
b) Interaction & negotiations with vendor insurance companies.
c) Regular meeting with customer to review business and increase business.
d) Providing end to end services to customer starting from receiving notification of request for
insurance coverage till issuance of insurance policy.
e) Resolution of queries/complaints which includes resolution of discrepancies arising during the
process of issuance of insurance policy document.
f) Monitoring of Motor & Overseas and analysis various MIS.
g) Monitoring & reviewing all process (internal & external) and take necessary steps to improve
it.
h) End to end services from notification of overseas insurance claim to final settlement.
i) Avenues (Worksite) to tap and group employees for individual insurance requirement.
2. CD Reconciliation
a) Mentoring the CD Team
b) Regular meeting with customer & insurance company to review and resolve CD queries.
c) Monitoring & reviewing the CD process and reconciliation.
3. Business Booking
a) Mentoring the BB Team.
b) Monitor that all business received by BB team is booked in time and correctly.
c) Analysis various MIS and submit to Sr. Management.
d) Renewal & Retention Data.
4. System Development (Business Software )
e) Submit SRS to IT team.
f) Interact with IT team.
g) Perform UAT.
h) Training the team.
